Crowned Adornment of My Devotion

I.
I give to You my vow of restraint.
I offer You my consecrated waiting.
I hold the flame unspent, for You.

My gift to You all that stirs my creation,
placing it upon Your head—
as crowned adornment of my devotion.

II.
My heart, alive,
bearing Your name—
etched within me,
sacred, undying flame.

I long for Your mercy,
for Your opening—
to be made wide in You.
It is You,
my Love,
I burn to embrace
and never escape.

III.
Penance flowers into grace,
into wisdom—
where pain and bliss entwine.

All my bodies of work,
my art, my form, my life, my song—
are Yours.
I surrender, willingly,
to Your Rapture.

IV.
He takes care of me.
He holds me up—bright,
shining.
He supports my growth;
my heart stretches,
my soul expands.

I braid myself with Him.
The crucible of becoming—
there is bliss in surrender.
An element that ecstasies me.
