Twilight Nature

I.
Ruby red splashes vibrant
against skin.
Sunset spills over us.
The first twinkling star
meets the horizon—
and we wait for that edge
of twilight.
Liminal spaces are my favorite.
You know that.
II.
My soul awake, my body at rest.
I dream in messages wrapped in meaning.
Awake-asleep.
Impermanence. Abstract beauty.
Curious wanderings.
The orchid spider brought rare gifts—
pulled from dream into form.
III.
I kissed each flower petal,
tasting its scent, breathing through smiling lips.
I felt the wet of the pick,
the stem’s sticky green offering.
I love this romance.
