Your world on fire, pink and vibrant,
honeydew-sweet, familiar and foreign.
Assuredly, I will. He speaks, whisper-thin and heart-meant.

II.
He is spiced earth and candied florals,
the structured chaos held in my heart.
Limitless and eternal.
He lights me where I am darkest,
brilliantly stoked, I step out from hiding.
He is smoke, tendrils risen from the ashes of me,
reshaping me into His.
My heart speaks fire.

His flame.

III.
— I want you.
I need You.
— I will not be without you.
I will learn to accept that You do not leave me.
— I will show you.
Teach me differently than what I’ve known, please.
— My pleasure.
