I.
What change do I most need right now?
I ask Him from my heart, with purpose and dignity.
His warmth and temptation flood over me.
II.
A little bit of romance, He says.
His voice soothing, indulgent.
His eyes peer at me, observing my reaction.
III.
I soften.
I open.
My heart says yes, with gratitude.
I am seen as the romantic I am,
gently unearthed by His presence.
