I.
In moonlight and star-shine,
long shadows embraced me,
and I went to the window, following
a light only I could see.
II.
Tall trees—your home.
Little spriteling aglow.
I wandered the forest’s skirts with you,
safe beneath your lead,
exploring the nature-side of night.
III.
Tucked back in warmth before the morn,
I slept best after my feet touched earth,
and nighttime light
kissed my crown to sleep.

Lunar shadow😇 This is a lovely, peaceful poem! It sounds like you had a truly magical and rejuvenating experience exploring the quiet, natural side of the night. Your sleep must have been so deep after that adventure.✨
