The Universe Offered in His Strands

I.
I show Him my web.
I hold it up to the sunlight to be seen.

Then I show Him as it shatters,
crumbling at my feet,
and the tears are let free.
All I need isn’t in the same place
as I wish it to be.

II.
He wipes aside my web
and asks me to look around.

His web appears over me—
the whole sky,
the universe offered in its strands.

Enough for you, He says.
I understand abundance is not limited—
not by place or mind.
It’s there, reaching toward us,
with no filter.

III.
My wonder still exists.
I can let go
and accept what is,
opening myself to receive
what I need
in the unexpected.
