Grandmother Spider

I.
Spider webbing
Glimmering in the sun—
Twinkling,
spun diamonds.

Rainbow threads, translucent,
spread spiraling—
centered while expansive.

Made a home from nothing
but what She carried on Her back.

II.
Eight-eyed hunter.
Patiently waiting for the vibrations
that set Her steps dancing.

She’s not worried about anything.
She knows there’s nothing to suffer over.

She lives because She is alive
to give back to life Herself.

She’s never concerned She’s selfish—no.
What for,
when She’s busy minding Her own business?

III.
Holding up heaven while grounded.
She’s auspicious—
liminal space dweller,
dream guardian.

Weaving creative force into actions.
A rush of gold
delights all my mind
with Her signs.

IV.
Grandmother Spider,
wise guardian,
fate-spinner,
guide between worlds.

Silver threads—mysteries kept sacred.
She whispers:
stillness gives the answers we once missed.

She holds me in softness.
Her grace, moving in silence,
portends harmonious reflections.

Her eyes miss nothing.
